Two more wam-up matches have been arranged as part of Taunton's pre-season preparations. Town will play Devon and Exeter League side St Martins on the Castle School astro pitch this Saturday (21 July), kicking off at 1.00pm. St Martins, based in Exminster, won the Premier Division title in the Devon and Exeter League last season.
Taunton will also play a friendly at Somerset County League side Bishops Lydeard next Thursday (26 July), ko 6.30pm. Although it unfortunately overlaps with the club AGM, the game will be beneficial to manager Leigh Robinson to assess more players who have been attending pre-season training. The Forum scheduled to follow the AGM at the RAFA Club will still take place and will begin at approximately 8.30pm with Leigh in attendance. One more friendly is likely to be confirmed in the next couple of days. |
