Taunton completed their friendly fixtures with a 2-1 win over Peninsula League Division One East outfit Stoke Gabriel at Wordsworth Drive yesterday (11 August). After a first half of opportunities but no goals, the visitors took the lead on 61 minutes through Dave Worthington whose volley from long range beat Ryan Lewis. Town equalised after 77 minutes when Corey Lewis fired home from inside the box following a one-two with Raith Plant. Dean Stamp then scored his first goal for the Peacocks a minute later to win the game when he lobbed the ball over Grant Fisher from 22 yards. Match review now online.
