Midfield playmaker Simon Ingram has been named as the new team captain of Taunton Town. Ingram is in his second spell at the club, having rejoined at the beginning of last season, and manager Leigh Robinson has no doubt regarding his choice for the role. "I am certain that Simon will be a fantastic captain for the club" he said. "He has been a wonderful leader and captain for me in the past and I know he will take huge pride in captaining his home town club. We have always had a great relationship and I look forward to continuing working with him."
