The constitution for the Evo-Stik League Southern next season was published by the FA today (25 May) as part of the overall allocation of clubs at Steps 1 - 4 with Town remaining in the South and West Division. Clubs who will no longer be in our division for 2012-13 are last season's champions Bideford and play-off winners Gosport Borough who are promoted to the Premier division, and Stourport Swifts who are relegated to the Midland Alliance. Thatcham Town have been switched to the Southern League Central Division whilst Halesowen Town have transferred to the Northern Premier League Division One South. Three clubs enter our division following relegation from the Premier, namely Cirencester Town, Swindon Supermarine and Evesham United who will be playing at their new ground next season. Town also renew rivalries with Merthyr Town and Winchester City who have been promoted from the Western and Wessex Leagues respectively, while Shortwood United also join from the Hellenic League.
The constitution has to be ratified at next month's Southern League AGM.
