The Peacocks will be seeking their second Evo-Stik League home win in four days when they welcome Walton Casuals to the Viridor Stadium tomorrow evening (14th November), kick-off 7.45pm.

Saturday’s win over Wimborne closed the gap on second placed Salisbury to one point so another victory tomorrow will lift Town up to second spot in what will be the first ever meeting between the sides. This is the Casuals’ first campaign in the Southern League after being switched from the Isthmian League over the summer, having won the Play-Off Final on penalties in May. They are lying in 12th position at present and are on a decent run of form, with only two defeats in their last eight league fixtures and through to the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy following their win over Bognor Regis at the weekend. However all their league victories have come at home whilst on the road they have yet to win, picking up just two points from six matches.

Striker Andrew Neal who has served his three game ban and Josh Nelmes who was away for the Wimborne match both return to the squad which otherwise remains unchanged.

Head of Football Rob Dray commented: ”Another midweeker where we need to capitalise on other teams not playing. Saturday was a good win but we have areas to improve and we won’t get carried away. Walton come to us on the back of some good results and like all teams in this division can hurt you if we don’t do things the right way. We therefore need to carry on from the weekend with our intensity and work rate.”
