Following discussions between the Club, the Somerset FA and Weston-super-Mare, it has been agreed by all parties, that the Final between Taunton Town v Weston-super-Mare, at Huish Park, the home of Yeovil Town FC will now take place during pre-season, once a new date can be identified.
The Peacocks are likely to be involved in the Southern League play-offs and should the club progress to the Play-Off Final that tie would be contested on 6th May, a day before the Somerset Premier Cup Final, originally scheduled for 7th May. If Town were to progress further to the Super Play-Off Final that tie would be played on 11th May.
We thank Somerset FA and Weston-super-Mare for their understanding and a new date will announced in due course, with the likely venue for the Final being held at the Optima Stadium, home of the Seagulls.
