Safeguarding at Taunton Town

Safeguarding

Taunton Town Football Club is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk.

The Club seeks to create a safe, secure culture enabling all vulnerable groups to participate in a broad spectrum of activities relating to football.

All staff share in this commitment and are aware of the Clubs’ safeguarding policies, have regular training and are DBS checked.

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of vulnerable groups is of paramount importance.
  • Everyone shares a responsibility to safeguard.
  • Vulnerable groups are treated with respect and their views and wishes are valued.
  • Staff work in an open and transparent way.

Professional standards are applied regardless of ethnic origin, colour, nationality, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
