Marcus signed for the Peacocks on the eve of the 2023-24 season after trialling successfully during pre-season. Able to operate as a wing back or winger, he was with Bristol City as a youngster from the age of 14, featuring for both their Under 18 and Under 23 sides while also spending the best part of the 2019-20 season on loan at Paulton Rovers where he enjoyed a spell of scoring nine goals from 11 games. After being released by City in the summer of 2020 he signed for Southern League Bristol Manor Farm until the season ended due to covid. He then joined Cymru Premier side Barry Town United for the 2021-22 campaign before returning to Manor Farm in the summer of 2022. In February 2023 he joined AFC Totton where he helped them win promotion to the Southern Premier.
